The Student Professional Worker Program is designed to provide on-the-job training and experience while participants obtain their degree. We will help you to gain experience in building employment skills, establishing a professional network while continuing your education. This is temporary, part-time position, compensated on an hourly as-needed basis for up to 30 hours per week during instructional period.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in collecting and analyzing statistics, doing research, and making investigations and special studies in a variety of occupational fields.
Assist in the preparation of reports.
Assist in the preparation of press and radio releases.
Assist in the administration of psychological and other tests to patients.
Assist in the performance of laboratory tests and analysis.
Assist in the group supervision and training of juvenile wards of the courts.
Assist in identifying and cataloging birds, mammals, and fossils.
Assist in processing writs and judgments, filing legal documents, and making entries of legal action.
Assist in work related to the administration of manpower programs for the disadvantaged.
Act as guide for student tours of County departments.
Do related clerical work as required.
